MyLab | South Asia
Features of MyLab | South Asia include:
  • Local and customisable content: Each MyLab|South Asia course has been developed on the basis of a local syllabi. These courses can be further modified by instructors to rearrange the table of contents, hide existing content, add their own content, and modify existing test banks. An eText of choice can also be integrated with the courses on request.
  • Comprehensive modules: Each course module has been divided into key learning objectives that are explained through text, figures, tables, simulations, and/or animations. Students can test their understanding of each learning objective by attempting the Check Your Understanding questions at the end of each section. The Tests in each course are also mapped to these learning objectives.
  • Tests: The Tests tool provides instructors with pre-loaded test banks that are mapped to the module objectives. These test banks comprise subjective and objective questions with feedback and model answers. Instructors can use the Tests tool to select assignments for students, gauge their understanding of specific topics, and provide immediate feedback.
  • Gradebook: The Gradebook is linked to the Tests, and automatically grades all the objective questions attempted by students. Instructors can change the Gradebook settings to alter the weights given to particular assessments, score subjective questions, override system grades, and provide additional feedback.
  • Instructor resources: The Instructor resources include lecture slides, teaching notes, Tests, video/case study guides, and a range of videos and/or simulations that empower instructors and help them in class preparation, lecture delivery, and assessments.
  • Student resources: Flash cards, study guides , and model (solved) question papers are designed to help students recapitulate key module concepts and prepare for exams.
  • Videos/Simulations: Depending on the nature of the course, a host of videos and/or simulations are provided to help instructors introduce topics, explain difficult concepts, and make the learning process more engaging.
